Hauliers' Liability

The purpose of the legal liability policy is to provide indemnity in respect of the legal liability of the carrier (or freight forwarder) for physical loss or damage to the goods handled for customers in their capacity as a carrier/haulier (or freight forwarder). In its standard form, Insurers will allow the widest cover thought necessary for the operations of the average carrier/haulier (freight forwarder).

Although there are many market variations most policies contain common features.
